Join the
Ultimate Adventure Summer Program at the Enrichment Center this summer and learn about cooking, transportation and theater.
Our 2011 summer program starts June 20 and ends August 12.

Week One: June 13-17 - "ICEBREAKERS"
In order to have a great start to the summer, we
will kick off with a week of getting to know each other. We will start off "breaking the ice" by engaging
in activities that will aid in getting to one another’s names, interests, and hobbies.
Week Two: June 20-24 - "SPORTACULAR FUN"
A week of sports that will offer crazy alternatives
to games such as: kooky kickball, standing broad grin, and human foosball. We will end the
summer with our own version of the Olympics called "The Enrichment Olympics."
Week Three: June 27-July 1 - "CELEBRATE AMERICA"
Every year we come together to celebrate
our country’s independence. This year we will be putting on a red, white and blue parade with sidewalk
fireworks and balloon rockets.
Week Four: July 4-8 Center is closed.
Week Five: July 11-15 "BUGGY ABOUT BUGS/SLIME & GRIME WEEK"
Enter the creepy,
crawly world of bugs with activities that bring you face to face with their world. We will collect
and create our own bugs while gaining a better understanding of the everyday life of bugs. Lots of
fun including slimy and grimy activities that children love so much. We will be creating our own potions
while making worm cups and enjoying liquid sandwiches.
Week Six: July 18-22 "WATERWORLD"
This week we will enter the world of water. First
we will begin with water balloon battles and creation of sailboats. We will also be taking an aquatic
center field trip as well. So make sure extra clothes are available all week because everyone will
be getting wet!
Week Seven: July 25-29 "CARNIVAL CAPERS"
The children will hold a carnival for families and
other children. Much of this week will be spent preparing carnival stations and each child will have
the opportunity be in charge of the individual booths. All this hard work will pay off on the final
day (Friday) for everyone to see and enjoy.
Week Eight: August 1-5 "A MEDIEVAL TIME"
The children will have the opportunity to live
life as if they were living in Medieval Times. Each child will have the chance to create their own
knight or princess costume to wear throughout the week. During snacks and lunches we will be eating
using no utensils to get a real "feel" for the Medieval Times. Games will include jousting accuracy,
prisoner’s base, and bobbing for apples.
Week Nine: August 8-12 "KID CITY"
Groups of children will build their own stores and sell
different items to the other kids. These items can include toys, snacks, cards, etc… They will be
using enrichment dollars to purchase these items which they will receive throughout the summer
for good behaviors and actions. The booth who sells the most will receive the summer blast prize.
